About Eddie Reyes
When I was a kid I would go into my mom’s kitchen and experiment. I didn’t know any recipes at this point so I just grabbed some ingredients from the cupboards and started mixing.

I never made a dish or anything because my mom would always walk in and yell at me for making a mess so I never got to the actually cooking part. All I remember is that feeling that I was creating something. I didn’t know what the heck I was creating but that whisk in my hand felt great. It really felt like it belonged there, gripped tightly in my right hand I would whisk, whisk, whisk until the consistency was just right.
Years later I looked back on those early days and realized I was meant to make food. My body knew way back then that cooking and feeding people is what I was put on this green Earth to do! I felt the love of food when I was still wearing footed pajamas. Food was also always around me. My mom cooked, my grandma cooked, my aunties cooked and my dad was a baker. But the culinary field was never a career choice. Only recently did I understand how perfect a match I am with food. I love food, I love playing with food, I love creating with food and mostly I love feeding people and watching them enjoy my creations!
My blog will be about my experiences with food and the food related world. It is still a work in progress but I hope you will take this culinary journey with me and feel the love of food. Enjoy.
